Nicolino's Famous Italian RestaurantIn 1969 Papa Nicolino his wife Emilie and two son’s Michael and Mark moved to Palm Springs and opened an Italian Deli and bakery. The Bakery and deli was named Nicolino and Sons. It was an overnight success with the first to serve the valley with Italian specialty breads and delicious Italian cold cuts. The valley’s local residents along with Palm Springs celebrities, such as Frank Sinatra, Burt Lancaster, Natalie Wood, Robert Wagner, Sonny Bono, Pat Henry and the list goes on who enjoyed Papa Nicolino’s fresh bakery items and deli. Papa Nicolino his wife and Michael moved and opened an Italian Restaurant in Lake Havasu, AZ in 1985 and again became a success in that community. Papa Nicolino and Emilie are well and retired now in Arizona.

With the great recipes passed down from Papa the local favorite restaurant continues to be popular with, valley locals, celebrities, young families, lovers, seniors, visitors just about all walks of life inter into those doors.

At Nicolino’s we are proud to say we have over five employees that have been working over fifteen years. Our servers have no sections anyone of them may take your food or beverage order another might bring the items to your table and another might dessert you and bring you your check. It is our goal to give the customers the best service in dinning that they deserve. Have you ever been at a restaurant and you can’t get service, so you ask a server and their reply is “I will get your waiter” that will not happen at Nicolino’s everyone is there to serve you.

Our menu is designed by Mark and Rhonda; all of our meals are popular and delicious. Pasta, Hand tossed Pizza, chicken; Veal, salads, and desserts are fresh and made to order.

Nicolino’s wine menu is affordable with nice imported and California favorites, we even pour a super well for our cocktails. Mark and Rhonda believe if you are having good food then have good drink.

At Nicolino’s Famous Italian Restaurant we make it good, give you plenty and don’t charge a lot. So come enjoy our establishment and I hope we can become friends for life.
